The RTW Fund aims to improve the workers’ rehabilitation and compensation system by testing different ways to assist an injured worker to recover at work as well as improving durable return to work arrangements through developing a more cohesive and connected return to work (RTW) system in South Australia.
WorkCover recently reviewed and updated the RTW Fund charter to align its objectives with WorkCover’s strategic goals and direction 2011-16.

Project learning and reports
Evaluation of the RTW Fund projects has been provided independently by the Workplace Innovation and Social Research Centre (WISeR).
WISeR have analysed project outcomes and identified issues for consideration of future claims management services. These will inform policy and legislative changes where required.
