The roles of return to work professionals

Effective communication and collaboration with the injured worker and other return to work stakeholders is essential to achieve a safe, durable and timely return to work [1-5]. In addition to the injured worker and their family or carer, the treating medical practitioner and other health providers, the following professionals play an important role in facilitating return to work:

Each of the above stakeholders has unique expertise to contribute to the return to work process.
