WorkCover is undertaking a review of the total levy function, including the SafeWork Incentive for Large Employers. More information on the outcome of this review will be publicised in late 2008.
The program is designed to provide larger employers, who have successfully implemented safe work strategies, with the opportunity of earning lower levy rates based on outcomes measured by the costs of all claims.
As the SafeWork Incentive for Large Employers is under review no assumptions on the extent of bonuses and penalties applicable from 1 July 2009 should be made.
