Injured Worker Stakeholder Group

The Injured Worker Stakeholder Group provides focused feedback on scheme and legislative issues that affect injured workers.

The group is a link between WorkCover and injured workers on issues that are important to the injured worker community to ensure representative views are heard and considered in decision-making. The group meets bi-annually.

The objectives of the group are to:

  • assist with the development of strategies that will enhance WorkCover’s ability to support injured workers and their families to achieve sustainable return to work or return to independence and/or the community
  • identify issues arising and contribute to delivery of solutions
